The dirt and ground halftones are fairly high contract in comparison and alternate between brown and red. The sky is a line pattern with a mask over it faded in and out. I thought this was important to show because you can't see these details so well

Here's a poster I did through Hellfire Red. I really dig Husky, awesome instrumental rock from NC, hard to explain but some parts remind me of later Neil Young and crazy Horse jamming, just more amped up. I can't recommend them enough, they have a great sound and can get out there with it but their songs have hooks and structure..... which makes them memorable and stick apart from other bands

So my friends tapped me for this and I couldnt say no. I was inspired by Bobby Lieblings eyes and that was it: Drew it, inked it, scanned it and spent HOURS working on the color. The text took awhile too, to make it pop and get it right. I went with a warm color scheme on this one and use some gritty textures. Also, I tried to use a base color, a highlight and a shadow to create 3 tones. Some sucesses, some not. Good exercises, wish I could have printed these, there's tons of details in there.

This was an idea I had for an earlier "Zombie Durga" show (ie reunion). I did this drawing, didn't like it, an used another older drawing for the other flyer. I hadn't drawn anything in a long time and I even had a tough time with the sketches. Later I scanned this, cleaned it up and toned it in Photoshop then added the text and printed some poster sized ones.

For this one I used a fully colored image I made in Illustrator but changed the colors to a CMYK scheme to mimic the bad copier effect. So heres the flyer that I originally did the zombie drawing for, scrapped it, and used this older illustration instead.
